Nootka Trail

This is another amazing hike and is probably my favorite hike I’ve ever been on!  Chris and I did the hike in 5 days.  We flew in with Air Nootka to the north end of the Island, and then hiked the outer coast to Friendly Cove where we took the freighter back.  I made a photo book of our hike, this gallery is the actual pages from the book.

The hike has no development whatsoever, there are no bridges, ladders or anything else.  So when it comes time to cross a river, you take the shoes off and put the sandals on, and wade through.  If the current is too high or the tide is too high, you are out of luck.
